12 May 2008 - Carnival May Meeting

At the Meeting on the 12th May 2008 the Agenda was as followed: Entertainment, Procession, Stalls, Programme and Any other Business.

Our Next meeting will be held at Crofton Community Centre, 2nd June 2008, 7:30pm

Notes from Carnival Meeting held on 28th April 2008.

Entertainment:

Arena Events: Punch and Judy Shows X 4 Performances and Clown and Car Show X 1 Performance will be booked using styletrax booking.

Arena timings need to be confirmed with Groups taking part.

Crofton Silver Band have been contact to see if they can display in the Arena.

Procession: Please contact Crofton Carnival for more Information.

Stalls:

A number of stalls have booked we awaiting payment from some,

Two stall booking - drop in session will be held on Thursday 22nd May at Crofton Community Centre (10am to 1pm) and Crofton Library (2pm and 5pm).

Programme:

Nostell Priory Holiday Park are advertising on the back page for £50.

The Programme will  be printed on the 15th May and volunteers will be needed the prepare the programme.

Any other Business:

Chris attended Pontefract Castle on Sunday 27th to hand out advertisements for Stall Space at Crofton Carnival.

Fancy Dress Prices: 1st £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5.

Fancy Dress Sweets will not  e bought this years as we are often left with large amounts of sweets not taken.
